Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and
Safety (EHS) rules, guidelines, and statutory regulations to maintain a
safe working environment.
2. Ensure all activities comply with ISO 9001, ISO
14001, and company safety management systems, regularly practicing and
updating procedures.
3. Perform general plant and field tasks as instructed,
including:
a. Preparation and charging of chemical solution.
b. Operating pumps and filtration systems.
c. Changing filter bags/cartridges.
d. Operating other plant equipment as required.
e. Assist in start-up, shutdown, and operation of
equipment under supervision.
f. Support plant trial runs or experiments to improve
process efficiency, product quality, and productivity.
4.Monitor chemical processes and test product quality
as required to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
5. Collect samples and send to the laboratory as per
requirements; conduct additional sampling in special circumstances.
6. Ensure SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and
operational checklists are adhered to and accurately recorded.
7. Maintain chemical preparation check sheets and
process parameter logs accurately.
8. Assist in troubleshooting plant issues or equipment
problems and report findings to immediate superior.
9. Report any problems, changes, or deviations in
operational conditions promptly.
10. Provide concise and accurate information to the
Boardman for record-keeping and shift handovers.
11. Attend daily shift handover meetings to ensure
smooth transition between shifts.
12. Communicate operational status and updates to
supervisors and relevant team members.
13. Perform housekeeping duties and maintain cleanliness
and orderliness in the plant area.
14. Promote and practice safe work habits, operational
discipline, and good housekeeping at all times.
15. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as
assigned by the superior from time to time.
