Role


Duties & Responsibilities

- 01) To source and select reliable and responsible vendors.

- 02) Lead and negotiate with vendors to drive the best price.

- 03) To conduct monthly cost down activities.

- 04) To visit and audit new potential vendors, when required.

- 05) Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

- 06) Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.

- 07) Analyse, identify and implement action plans to improve procurement process effectiveness and efficiency.

- 08) Analyse procurement demand and the market, to achieve objective of procurement cost control and lower cost of procurement strategies.

- 09) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.

- 10) The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure instruction.

Job Requirements
- 01) Candidates must posses at least Degree preferable in Supply Chain/Business Management or any fields or equivalent from reputable universities.

- 02) At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- 03) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).

- 04) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.

- 05) Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.

- 06) Knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage

- 07) Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

- 08) Able to travel when required and possess own transportation would be an added advantage.

- 09) Self-motivated, problem solver, able to work with commitment and accuracy under pressure, good interpersonal and presentation skills.

- 10) Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
