Role

Operational and Financial Audit

• Appraise the reliability of internal controls, systems, procedures, financial statement and identify key risks areas and lapses for improvement and monitoring corrective actions.

• Report significant issues related to the business and operational processes for controlling the activities of Group together with recommendations for improvements by preparing periodic audit reports summarizing results of audit activities and follow-up reports on timely basis.

• Review and report on the accuracy, timeline and relevance of the financial information and financial report provided for management.

System Audit

• System integration - Appraise the many systems used are adequately integrated to ensure valid, reliable and consistent data are being used across departments.

• System Development - Verify if that the systems under development meet the objectives of the organization, and to ensure that the systems are developed in accordance with generally accepted standards for system development.

• Data integrity - Appraise the systems used are adequately controlled to ensure valid, reliable, timely and secure input, processing and output at all levels of a system's activity.

Compliance Audit

• Corporate Governance

• Securities / Regulatory law

• Risk Management

• Facilitating identification and evaluation of risks

• Coordinating ERM activities

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.


Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent from reputable universities.

• Have 1 to 2 years working experiences in Internal Audit.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Able to carry out audit fieldworks independently by referring to audit programmes/audit checklist/guidance provided by IA Manager in effective and efficient manners.

• Possess strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Able to present audit issues to Management during Exit Meeting.

• Possess the knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications.
