Role

  1. Financial Management:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and long-term planning.
    • Check and review the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Invoicing
    • Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.
    • Generate comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
    • Prepare annual budgets and monitor actual performance against budgets.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts for management review.
    • Prepare, monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

o Optimize working capital and recommend strategies for cash flow improvement.

  1. Tax Planning and Compliance:
    • Prepare and oversees tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities.
    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  2. Credit Management:
    • Assess credit risk and set credit limits for customers.
    • Monitor customer creditworthiness and make adjustments to credit terms as necessary.
    • Implement credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve credit-related issues and facilitate timely payments.
    • Conduct regular reviews of customer accounts and recommend adjustments to credit terms.
  3. HR and Payroll Functions:
    • Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
    • Administer employee benefits programs
    • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
    • Manage payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of employee salaries and benefits.
    • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
  4. Operations Oversight:
    • Streamline and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
    • Monitor and manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
    • Oversee facilities management and ensure a safe and conducive work environment.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks through effective risk management strategies.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of finance and operations professionals.
    • Provide guidance and support for their professional development.
  7. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate financial and operational information to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial and operational goals with overall business objectives.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Chartered Accountancy / ACCA / CPA would be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in finance management and operations oversight.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
