617 - Officer, R&D & Production  

Role

1) Assist in hands on research on process enhancement, new material development, or new technology for quality improvement or cost down initiative.

2) Assist in R&D study for value added, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, or cost reduction of existing products.

3) Perform all necessary evaluation and physical or mechanical tests for glove, raw material, or former.

4) Carry out routine testing or analysis in order to provide reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.

5) Ensure all lab equipment is well maintained, utilized in proper manner and calibrated periodically and provide all the required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively.

6) Communicate effectively and regularly to reporting superiors on project progress, results and analysis in terms of complete study reports, presentations, and meetings.

7) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.

The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure /
instruction.

Job Requirements

1) Diploma with CGPA above 3 and/or Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA below 2.50 with any relevant background.
2) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
3) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
4) Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
